Sansa Stark. Sansa (Sophie Turner) was given the opportunity to free herself from her nightmare marriage to Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) but it got crushed right in front of her by her own husband. Sansa asks Theon Greyjoy/Reek (Alfie Allen) for help but Theon/Reek is still loyal to and afraid of Ramsay so he informed his master about Sansa’s escape plan.

Ramsay had Sansa’s old lady ally killed and let his beautiful wife see it. Sansa will continue to endure living with Ramsay until the right time comes for her to strike back and avenge her family.

Daenerys Targaryen. Daenerys/Mother of Dragons/Khaleesi (Emilia Clarke) receives Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) as a gift from Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen). The two major GoT characters finally crossed paths while Khaleesi watched some men fight each other off in a pit.

Jorah stepped outside to show off his figthing skills and emerge as the victor in order to have a few moments of Daenerys’ time. When Daenerys did not believe that Jorah has something for her, Tyrion also walked out of the pit to offer himself as the gift to the Queen.

Bronn (Jerome Flynn). While Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) tries to convince Myrcella Baratheon (Nell Tiger Free) to come home with him, Bronn sits in a cell across the Sand Snakes. Tyene Sand (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers) gives Bronn the gift of second life after handing the antidote for the poison that she placed on the dagger that injured his arm during their fight. Tyene happily gave Bronn the antidote after he declared that she is the most beautiful woman in the world.

Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg). The High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) denied Olenna Tyrell’s request to release Loras (Finn Jones) and Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer). Then, Olenna meets with Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish (Aidan Gillen) at his ruined establishment.

Littlefinger gives Olenna a gift. Olenna Tyrell asks what kind of gift and Littlefinger responds that it is the same kind that he gave Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey). Littlefinger reveals to Olenna that his gift is a “handsome young man” but did not mention his name.

Lancel Lannister (Eugene Simon). As a member of the Faith, Lancel finally had the chance of giving Cersei Lannister an unforgettable gift. Cersei is initially pleased with Margaery Tyrell’s situation but the tables have turned when the High Sparrow wondered what will be revealed when they strip Queen Cersei of her finery.

The High Sparrow reveals that Lancel had so much to strip away before purifying his soul and it includes Cersei. The High Sparrow further informs Cersei that Lancel has so much to say about her before throwing the queen in a prison cell.

Elsewhere in the episode, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) leaves The Wall to fulfill a mission, Aemon Targaryen (Peter Vaughan) dies and Melisandre (Carice van Houten) wants Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) to sacrifice his daughter.

Melisandre tells the king that sacrifices must sometimes be made in order to ensure victory. However, Stannis rejects Melisandre’s suggestion because it involves Shireen Baratheon (Kerry Ingram).

“Game of Thrones” Season 5 will return with episode 8 titled “Hardhome” which is scheduled to air on Sunday night, May 31, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
